Who Is Gemba Systems?
Gemba was founded in 2007 by a team of partners who spent much of their careers building successful development practices. The partners remain the active drivers of Gemba Systems and they continue to assemble a growing team of world-class coaches and mentors. The members of the Gemba Systems team have taught better development techniques—including lean thinking, Scrum and Agile Methods—to thousands of developers in hundreds of organizations around the globe.

Amr Elssamadisy
Amr is the author of Agile Adoption Patterns: A Roadmap To Organizational Success. He is a software development coach who helps his clients build better, more valuable software. He has helped both small and large development teams learn new technologies, adopt and adapt appropriate Agile development practices, and focus their efforts to maximize the value they bring to their organizations.

Ashley Johnson
The thought leader behind Gemba’s Personal Agility approach, Ashley is an expert in two complimentary subjects that are at the center of Gemba’s success: Collaborative Behavior and Accelerated Learning. Ashley has been building successful teams and collaboration cultures for over twenty years. He brings these skills to bear on professional endeavors ranging from lean and agile transformation to coaching trust, personal responsibility and leadership for individuals.

Tim Snyder
For the better part of a twenty-five-year career, Tim has been coaching and training organizations to adopt better development practices. From 1999 to 2007, Tim managed the skill development business unit of Valtech Technologies, where he helped grow the firm from small startup company (thirty-five people) to a publicly-traded, multinational firm. Tim spent part of his tenure at Valtech establishing an Agile offshore development center in Bangalore, India.
